Our new branding – Welcome to BUSSLIST

Today, we show you the direction our branding is taking and what that means for all of us in concrete terms.

Important: Everything you see here is confidential until April 9. The market should see BUSSLIST as a finished image for the first time – not as a work in progress. Feel free to share the information internally, but not externally yet.

Today’s topics at a glance:

A first look at our new logo

This is our new joint logo. But the image element, the dots, takes on dimension and dynamics. Red-orange will be our signature color. Red represents LIST. Orange represents BUSS. The gradient represents what defines us: warmth and accessibility on the one hand, energy and drive on the other. Flowing together. BBA contributes its cooling technology, and the ice-blue association lives on in the technology brand BBA Cooling Technology.

The design is complemented by a dark anthracite for seriousness and a light gray for clarity. The dark and light blue tones also remain part of our design.

In any case, our new brand speaks a language of energy and warmth. It sets us apart from the color monotony of the industry.

Three technology brands under one roof

BUSSLIST is the umbrella brand. It encompasses three technology brands that are derived from the group logo and remain independently visible:

  • BUSS Co-Kneader Technology – the Co-Kneader Technology for demanding compounding. The heart of BUSS since 1946.
  • LIST KneaderReactor Technology – the KneaderReactor Technology for highly viscous processes. Reaction technology, degassing, polymerization. Where others reach their limits.
  • BBA Cooling Technology – the Cooling Technology for controlled solidification of viscous materials. BBA completes our process chain.

What this means: Your name will not disappear. It will live on in the technology brand: in brochures, at trade fairs, on the website, in all market communications. And the colors of the technology brands are based on your previous logos. A familiar element in a new setting.

Together, these three technologies form a process chain that no competitor can offer:

  • Reacting and kneading.
  • Compounding and mixing.
  • Cooling and solidifying.

Please remember:
This information must be treated as confidential until April 9. It must not be disclosed to anyone outside the company.

What will change

Name and appearance: From April 9, we will be operating as BUSSLIST Group. New logo, new look. The change will be implemented gradually: business cards, letter templates, presentation masters, signs, work clothing… everything has its own schedule. No one has to change everything at once on April 9.

Email addresses: You will receive new email addresses under the BUSSLIST domain. We are currently planning to make the changeover on April 9 as well—the final details are still being coordinated to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible for everyone. IT will inform you in good time about details regarding your email address, signature, and calendar and will support you during the changeover.

Website: The new BUSSLIST website will go live on April 9. It brings together everything that is currently spread across three separate websites. Your technology, your applications, your references: all in one place.

Business cards, letter templates, PPT master: The first new templates will be available from April 9. If you still need business cards or letterhead by then, you can continue to use the existing ones until the changeover. We will announce who to contact for the new business cards and the procedure in due course.

Management at Arisdorf: From April 1, we – Philip, Karsten, and Gérard – will be working together at the Arisdorf site. The management team is sitting together. Arisdorf is our headquarters. A place that many of you know. It is a conscious signal from us in the management team: BUSSLIST is a new entity that will be successful in the market.

What we stand for

BUSS, LIST, and BBA have founding fathers who drove innovation. This spirit of innovation still resonates within us today. And that is how our values are formed. Not as abstract concepts, but as an attitude in everyday life, among ourselves and toward our customers:

In partnership

In partnership

We win together or not at all. Internally as a team, externally at eye level with our customers.

Curious

Curious

We ask before we answer. Curiosity always comes first when it comes to solving a task.

Solution-oriented

Solution-oriented

We talk about solutions, not problems. While others are still analyzing, we’re already taking action.

Responsible

Responsible

We stand behind what we deliver. Every machine, every process, every promise.

These are not just words for a brochure. This is an attitude that we will be sharing with the outside world starting on April 9: on our website, at trade fairs, in every customer meeting. But the most important place where these values come to life is you. In design, sales, administration, service, and production…

What that means for you

If you have customer contact: The previous materials and contact details will work as usual until April 9. From April 9 onwards, you will use the new templates. If you meet customers who ask (and some will ask), tell them this: BUSSLIST brings together what belongs together. Three technologies, one process chain. Every customer will understand this immediately.

The more confidently we all present our new strength and direction together, the more successful we will be.

Give it a chance—even if not everything feels natural right away. It will grow on you.

But before we get started, Easter is coming.

During Holy Week, we will distribute a small package to each and every one of you in Arisdorf, Biel, and Pratteln. Our international locations will receive their packages a little later by mail—we kindly ask for your patience in this regard. What’s inside? Let yourself be surprised. Just this much: it’s something to wear, something to snack on, and something to read.

Do you have any questions, suggestions, or input for the next newsletter? Please contact us, Nadine Preiss, Victor Callegari, or Daniela Hees. We would rather answer ten questions more than one too few!

Sincerely,

Philip Nising, Karsten Güdemann, Gérard Hofer
