Technical professions are exciting. At BUSS, sophisticated, innovative plants and machinery are developed. The best place to learn how is in our design engineering department – as Carina Buser has done. During her traineeship at BUSS, she learned the basic principles of mechanical engineering and how to apply them. BUSS encouraged her and helped her build up her expertise. Now she has completed her programme and is a qualified Design Engineer and will be hired at BUSS.

“I’ve now completed my second apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, which was absolutely the right decision for me. I think the design engineering profession is very exciting and full of variety. Even during my first apprenticeship as a motorcycle mechanic, I was enthusiastic about the technical background and the interaction of the various assemblies. Since I have started with BUSS AG, I am very keen on the variety of work and the opportunity to continually gain new experiences so as to constantly increase my knowledge. Our compounding systems with their complexities and various requirements and designs give me a lot of opportunities for the future to continue on my path,” says the newly minted Design Engineer Carina Buser about her traineeship and the start of her career at BUSS.

We congratulate Carina on passing her final examination with flying colours, and we are delighted that she is staying with us. We always welcome good motivated employees – especially more women in our technical departments. Design engineering at BUSS is a good way to get started in almost all technical professions and also for later studying mechanical engineering. BUSS regularly trains apprentices, guiding them through four years of the machine construction apprenticeship – because good young professionals are important.
