After three years, BUSS was finally able to welcome numerous customers, partners and interested parties to K2022 in Düsseldorf again. There was great pleasure in direct personal dialog. Numerous technical discussions were held with an international audience that showed great interest in our compounding systems as well as in the digitization solutions.

“For us, it was a successful trade show where we were able to make numerous new contacts. In discussions with customers and interested parties, we went deep into the details of our compounding technology, where, in addition to performance aspects, the topics very often revolved around climate protection and recycling management. Our services in plant engineering and our pioneering digitalization offerings were equally in focus. With the topic of digitalized machine monitoring and our new service product ‘SenseHUB’, we were able to present a solution that is increasingly demanded and in demand. The assumption of monitoring, evaluation and planning of any necessary maintenance or repair work by the machine manufacturer in direct consultation with the customer continues to gain in importance,” said Dr. Philipp Nising, summarizing the trade show days at K2022. “The discussions surrounding the design of complete systems for various applications show us that our expertise in the design and implementation of systems is in demand and that our services as a system supplier are being appreciated.”

The focus at the trade show was on the COMPEO series, which is available in five sizes with throughput rates from 100 kg/h to 12,000 kg/h and mixes large quantities of additives gently and thoroughly into base materials. The new compact, user-friendly laboratory compounder ‘COMPEO LAB’ with throughputs from 50 kg/h to 100 kg/h for development, process optimization and small production campaigns was presented for the first time.

Visitors to the booth showed great interest with regard to the COMPEO series and its possibilities in the production of polymers for applications in batteries and fuel cells. Here it became clear once again that the trend towards e-mobility and the use of renewable energies is having an increasing impact on the production and performance of polymers. BUSS was able to impress visitors to the stand with its wide range of products and services.
