The “2018 Summit on Compounding Intelligent Manufacturing” hosted by Plaschain was held on November 16–17, 2018 at the Renaissance Suzhou Hotel. The summit focused on process upgrades to enter a new era of cost optimization and increased production efficiency.

Three hundred experts from the plastic compounding industry, including equipment manufacturers, compound producers, raw material suppliers, industry experts, and media, attended the summit.

As a global leader in the design and manufacture of continuous compounding systems, BUSS Compounding Solutions (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., supported the conference as a sponsor. Dino Kudrass, a design and process specialist at BUSS headquarters in Switzerland, delivered the presentation “Flexible Compounding Processes Adding Value to Production” with a focus on the new modular compounder generation COMPEO. His introduction to the working principle and features of the new BUSS compounder generation COMPEO left a profound impression on the audience. After his presentation, numerous guests expressed their interest in staying in touch with BUSS.

For BUSS Compounding Solutions (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., this summit forms another successful event in a series of activities on behalf of the Chinese plastic industry. The grand opening of the BUSS subsidiary on October 26, 2018 in Songjiang, Shanghai was followed by the delivery of a technical presentation at the 2018 China Synthetic Resin Industry Development Conference and China New Material Development Conference in Xi’an on November 1–2 and successful attendance at the China International Import Expo on November 5–10 as virtually the only vendor of cutting-edge compounding technology.
