Back at live Trade Fairs

CWE Essen. Fakuma Friedrichshafen. CWE Cleveland … The re-launch of leading trade fairs for the plastics industry was also a re-launch for BUSS and a great success. The COMPEO series, which has been significantly expanded, was the central topic at all three live trade fairs. Discussions with customers and interested trade visitors repeatedly focused on applications in the area of interaction between reactive thermosets and high-performance engineering plastics.

“I really appreciated finally meeting customers in person again at Fakuma and presenting technological solutions that solve customer-specific tasks with the COMPEO series,” says Fabien Venon, Process Engineer at BUSS. Dana Pulvino, Vice President Sales North America, sums up the days at CWE Cleveland: “This was a good small show for us. There were a lot of compounding companies in the area, many of which are customers and others that we have been working with as prospects.”

The first trade shows clearly showed that customers want to invest in the latest generation of compounding machines. In addition to price, functionality, flexibility and sustainability are playing an increasingly important role. The COMPEO models from BUSS meet exactly the demand in the market here. Correspondingly, exhibition booths were well attended and new contacts very positive. The overall trend is also reflected in the current order situation and a promising outlook for 2022.
